There is no other truck available that offers Stampede’s unique style, capability, and reputation for durability. The Stampede is powered by a Titan 12-turn 550 modified motor. It also has a racing-style Magnum 272™ transmission. This compination will propel the Stampede to speeds over 30mph*. The Titan 12T pulls air through the motor using its integrated cooling fan to keep it cool. Airflow is also routed through cooling channels molded into the motor plate. The cooler the motor is the faster sppeds you can attain. You will also enjoy longer runtime, and extended motor life.
Stampede uses the famous advanced Revo® technology to bolster performance. The Magnum 272 transmission is fully sealed to avoid dirt and debris. The Stampede comes equipped with efficient and precise ball bearings and an advanced Revo®-Spec Torque-Control™ slipper clutch. The Stampede's Revo-spec Talon™ 2.8" tires give sure-footed traction. The aggressive Talon tires are pre-glued and mounted on bold 2.8" All-Star™ mirror-chrome wheels. The proven Revo Talon tires grip the pavement, tear through rocks, and have the ability to kick-up massive rooster tails. These tires include performance-tuned foam inserts that provide extra stability on any surface.
The Titan 550 is controlled by the high-performance XL-5 electronic speed control. The XL-5 has ultra-smooth, high-frequency operation and high-power handing capability. Thus makes the Stampede as fast as it looks. EZ-Set® one-button setup makes it easy to adjust or change profiles. One of these is Traxxas' exclusive Training Mode™ profile. This profile cuts total power output in half and leaves the brakes at full strength. It’s the first controller of its kind that has a 50% power profile. Training Mode is perfect for young or first time drivers that want to learn the ropes. When they are comfortable they can unleash the full power of the mighty Titan 12T motor. This makes the Stampede perfect for almost any age driver or skill level.
Today’s batteries store more and more energy inside their cells making traditional battery connectors a bottleneck for power. This connectors are unable to deliver all the energy the battery is capable of outputting. The new Traxxas High-Current Connector opens the door for unrestricted current flow.
The Stampede comes fully loaded with high performance options like a fiber-composite chassis designed for exceptional rigidity and enormous ground clearance. Battery removal is made easy because the Stampede uses a quick-release battery hold down latch. The factory-installed planetary differential never needs adjusting. All you need to do to have fun is take the Stampede out of the box, charge up a battery, and go! Fresh Stampede graphics are available in black, red, gunmetal, or blue.
